About Museum Of International Folk Art

Founded by Florence Dibell Bartlett in 1953 to provide ”a venue for a closer understanding between men”, the Museum of International Folk Art represents diverse cultures and has one of the largest collection of international folk art in the entire world! Over the years, the museum has included the Hispanic Heritage Wing and Contemporary Hispanic Gallery, the Girard Wing, the Neutrogena Wing, and the Gallery of Conscience. Moreover, you will find a unique collection of more than 130,000 examples of folk and traditional arts from around the globe.
