Georgia O’Keeffe Museum

The Georgia O’Keeffe Museum is a special place that celebrates the life and work of Georgia O’Keeffe. It opened its doors in July 1997, eleven years after O’Keeffe passed away. It’s a unique museum because it’s the only one in the whole United States that’s all about a famous woman artist known around the world. The museum has nine galleries that take you on a journey through her life, showcasing her work from every decade she was active. You’ll get to see her paintings, drawings, pastels, and watercolors.
